The Pfalz, also called the Rheinpfalz, is located just north of France's Alsace. The wines from this region are diverse, ranging from Rieslings made in the dry and sweet styles, to Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir), Scheurebe, and Muller-Thurgau. Riesling from this region tends to be more full-bodied and full-flavored compared to the more delicate floral style seen in the Mosel. Spatburgunders can be heavenly, and we will be getting a few of those in very soon.
