The Beaujolais region lies immediately south of Burgundy and produces red wine from the Gamay grape. While many know Beaujolais Nouveau, the newly released wine in November of each year, what we carry year-round is the slightly more aged Beaujolais from one of the villages in Beaujolais. The best villages make the Cru Beaujolais, which are from any of these 10 villages: Brouilly, Cote de Brouilly, Regnie, Morgon, Chiroubles, Fleurie, Moulin-a-Vent, Chenas, Julienas, and Saint-Amour. They will bear these names on their labels.
