The Friedrich Becker estate is located right on the border near Alsace. In fact, while the winery is located in Germany, 50% of the vineyards are located on the France side of the border. The estate is known for its Pinot Noir wines, which here are called Spatburgunder (late Burgundy). There is also some Riesling and Pinot Blanc planted. Their Grand Cru site is called Sankt Paul.
