Francois Chidaine is not only considered to be one of the greatest winemakers in Mountlouis, (across the river from Vouvray, where he now also has vineyards) but in all of the Loire Valley. His commitment to lower yields, biodynamic farming practices and a very hands off approach to winemaking deliver us wines of amazing purity, complexity, power, elegance and finesse. Arguably some of the greatest Chenin Blanc in the world,(but don't miss his little Touraine, a Sauvignon Blanc he makes in small quantities) they sell out very quickly all over France and here in the United States so we are honored to have them on our shelves.
