THE WINE COUNTRY PRIVACY POLICY,
RETURN POLICY AND OTHER DISCLAIMERS.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
Every effort has been made to list prices and availability accurately,
however due to supplier fluctuations, they are subject to change without
warning.
All prices are on 750ml bottles, unless indicated otherwise.
ALL WINES ARE SOLD IN CALIFORNIA AND TITLE PASSES TO THE BUYER
IN CALIFORNIA.
We make no representation as to the rights of anyone to import wines
to any state outside of California.
The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wines.
By placing an order, you authorize The Wine Country to act on your behalf
to engage a common carrier to deliver your wine to you.
WINES MAY BE
SOLD AND DELIVERED ONLY TO PERSONS WHO ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD. IN
PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU REPRESENT TO US THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS
OLD, AND THE PERSON TO WHOM YOUR WINE WILL BE DELIVERED IS ALSO AT LEAST
21 YEARS OLD, AND MUST BE ABLE TO SHOW INDENTIFICATION PROVING SUCH.
It takes up to 2 weeks for wine to be transported across
country from the time of pickup. Quicker delivery is available at higher
rates. Cellared wine—wines 5 years old or older—are purchased at the buyer’s
own risk. We assume no liability for weather damage. Otherwise, damaged
goods are covered by insurance. We haven’t the facilities or capacity
to store wine. Any wine held at the store longer than 3 months will be
subject to a storage fee. All wines picked up at The Wine Country must
be charged California sales tax.

RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY
The Wine Country gladly accept returns on wines that are “corked” or
otherwise flawed due to the fault of the winemaker. Store credit will
be issued if a replacement bottle cannot be located. By law, we cannot
accept returns on wines ruined by adverse weather during transport (damage
by excessive heat or cold) or by improper home storage. Futures and pre-arrival
orders will not be cancelled once they are confirmed.
PRIVACY POLICY The Wine Country values the privacy of its customers and
does not share its customer information, mailing list or e-mail list
with any organization or business. |
