This is a big step up in richness and intensity from the basic CMS blend. Made entirely from Hedge's own vineyards, and with a similar blend to the CMS (but also including a bit of Cabernet Franc), this is hugely rich and powerful, yet balanced by its deep fruit and crispness. A rich, showy wine with a flamboyant personality and big flavors of blackberries, plums, all backed by gentle oak and vanilla flavors that accent the rich fruit without overwhelming it.
