We all have our "won't touch it for a million bucks" booze. The ones that even the sight of conjure up bad memories. For most it's Tequila, for me it's gin. I won't go into much detail, but let's just say a Costco sized bottle of Tanqueray, Super Bowl Sunday and Amy's Vortex were involved and resulted with my head in her toliet for 3 hours. Since that day I have become a die - hard non - gin drinker. I won't even try it if a supplier brings it in, Samantha has to. After two years of not even being able to stock gin on my shelves without feeling nauseous, I have found the only gin I will drink. Full of lime oil, citrus and light on the juniper berry, Bluecoat American Gin is five times distilled using organic juniper berries, a propriety blend of organic American citrus peels and other organic botanicals. It is distilled in a custom built, hand hammered copper pot still. The distillation process calls for extremely slow heating of the pot which allows for maximum separation of alcohols. No additives and all natural, organic botanicals and batch distilled, Bluecoat American Dry Gin results in an exceptionally smooth spirit.
