For those that prefer red wine this is definitely your cup of tea. This wine is meant to be drunk young - no cellaring needed - and with fall coming up, which means oven roasted meat, this would be perfect. It sees six months in French oak, which augments the pretty red and black fruit of this wine. There are some smoked meat aromas and flavors that pair well with the herbal notes on the palate. It does have the structure to age a few years, but it's so tasty I wouldn't want to wait more than the time it takes to get home.
