Although labelled "Syrah", this remarkable wine is actually one-third Syrah, one-third Grenache, and one-third a field blend of southern French varieties rarely planted in the U.S.: Pelercin, Aubon, Durif (Petite Sirah), and Carignan. The result is an amazingly complex wine with great depth, richness and a smooth texture that is velvety and powerful. Tremendous quality for the price.
