This is a terrific "value" syrah, full of rich blackberry fruit and a hint of cocoa, a plush, velvety texture with great depth and richness, soft but not overripe or flabby. Full in the mouth, the wine exhibits a lot of concentrated dark fruit with a dusting of oak and a creamy finish. This would be delicious on its own, but has good balance to match up with grilled meats, stews, or cheese. Quite a raging value!
