Denner is located in the prime growing region of Westside Paso Robles, near the famous James Berry Vineyard and Saxum Winery. This blend of 4 Rhone grapes is simply outstanding. The blend is 37 % Grenache, 28% Syrah, 26% Mourvedre, and 9 Cinsault. This is a big dark wine, with ripe plums, black cherries and a hint of chocolate. The limestone soils of west Paso help the grapes retain essential acidity, making this rich wine surprisingly well balanced and complex. A big, delicious wine that avoids going over-the-top.
