Canaan is the name for the blends created by the excellent Dalton Winery. A delicious white blend made up of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Chardonnay, and 10% Riesling, you can really taste all three varieties in the flavor of this wine. You get the bright citrus and savory herbal notes of the sauvignon, the rich softness and creamy texture of the Chardonnay, and the fresh fruitiness of the Riesling. Very bright, dry, and fresh tasting, this is a great quaffing white wine, or a perfect accompaniment to the lighter meals of Springtime. Very tasty!
