Quinta da Roeda is a single vineyard that has belonged to Croft since 1875, with poets writing about it - if the wine district were a golden ring, Roeda would be the diamond. If you're used to drinking Shiraz, this wine is for you. Exotic aromas of flowers, cedar, and luscious fruit, with hints of spice will lead to a palate that is full, round, and crammed with flavors of dark fruit and pepper. There some grip on the finish from the brilliant tannin structure. Croft uses the traditional foot-treading method to "press" their grapes.
