More serious and structured is the 2007 Alamos Seleccion Malbec, the quality and depth of which is immediately displayed by its deep violet color and intense fragrance. Darker and richer than the regular Alamos Malbec, with more minerality adding complexity to the delicious fruit of black raspberry and currants, leading to a surprisingly lingering finish.
