Sweeter creamier style of LBV, with some dried fruit character. It is the richness that entices me into a glass or two. The wine itself sees four years in barrel, then a further five years in the bottle before release. Bottom line is this is 15-plus years old and it costs less than $30. For an aged wine that is a bargain.
