90 Points Wine Spectator! "On the herbaceous side, with lovely acidity defining the white peach, fresh quince and star fruit flavors. A bit firm now, so give this a little time." - Bruce Sanderson of the Wine Spectator. Depending on whom you ask, this delightful wine, made on the banks of the Mosel at Wehlen, is either semi-dry or semi-sweet. I lean toward the former. There is a generous aroma of white pepper and pear, and it is fairly full and generous in the mouth with loads of fruit. A relatively powerful wine for Bert Selbach at 11.5% alcohol, the finish is long with a little minerality. It is as refreshing as a lime Popsicle. Kind of tastes like it, too. Without the sugar.
