I was surprised at how good this dry Riesling was when I tasted it with winemaker and owner Doris Eymael of Pfeffingen Estates at the Rudi Wiest vintage tasting in June 2008. The wine is crisp, fresh, and aromatic, the perfect German dry Riesling, with hints of white peach and red delicious apple and a zippy backbone of acidity. This is a quintessential dry Riesling and would pair great with summer dishes. And the price is fantastic too.
