This should be your house Italian white wine. It's almost a cross between Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, but it is all Verdicchio; a varietal that is all Italian. Verdicchio may also be related to Trebbiano, which is found in Lombardy. Along the coast of the Adriatic, near Ancona, you need a wine that pairs with fish and this is it. Very aromatic on the nose, it has loads of fresh fruit on the palate.
