What do you get for a measly eight bucks? Clean, fresh-tasting fruit that is pure in its chardonnay character, surprising richness and a creamy texture, good length and depth, and a nice long finish. Chile makes lots of good sauvignon blancs for under $10, but it's rare to find a chardonnay of this quality at such a low price. A terrific chard for a party or just casual sipping after a hard days work.
