One of Argentina's most high respected winemakers, Susana Balbo makes world-class Malbecs that are rich, powerful, and full of depth. Her "Signature" Malbec is a serious, ageworthy wine that compares in terms of quality and complexity with wines from Napa or Bordeaux that cost far more. Her style favors ripe, rich fruit accented (but not overwhelmed) by new oak barrels that add structure and depth. Although this wine could improve with aging for quite some time, it makes for very satisfying drinking now with steaks, roasts, or full-bodied cheeses. One of Argentina's finest Malbecs.
