I get nervous talking this wine up because it is made in such tiny quantities that I fear we won't be able to get more. Explosive mouth filling fruit, almost like those delicious wild strawberries in thick sweet cream that you smell the second you pop the cork. And on the palate, the wine is long, full and rich with nervy freshness on the finish that keeps everything perfectly balanced.

This wine already has quite the cultish following at The Wine Country and after one sip you will be clear why. It drinks like the best Pinot Noir you have had, only with tiny bubbles. Deep roasted black cherry in a buttery crust. A sublime rosé with the body to hold up to salty cured meats, and a finish that goes on forever. You might want to grab two--just to be safe. “When I want champagne, I bring this home,” says Amy Rust, our deputy Champagne expert at The Wine Country. “I friggin’ love it!” When she saw its brilliant bright salmon color Samantha Dugan remarked, “It’s really rosy. Drinking this wine, you can really taste the Pinot Noir.” Indeed you can. Bouzy is known for fruity and big Pinot-dominated wines and this is certainly a beautiful example.
