This is no ordinary Riesling, nor is it an ordinary producer. Celebrated the world over, Dönnhoff is one of a handful of the greatest wine producers not in Germany, but the world. Helmut Dönhoff’s wines are so expertly crafted, with such impeccable fruit and structure, they seem ageless. This is a very firm, substantial Riesling with concentrated fruit and a hefty note of minerality. I would cellar this wine for at least five years to allow its firm acidity to abate. You will be amply rewarded. Limited.
