This is the third vintage of the Monte de Luz Tannat we have carried, and we are impressed with the quality here. Firm tannins are buffered by intense black fruits, giving a wine with boldness and without excess weight. This is a terrific balanced wine made in the style of Madiran and pays tribute to the greatness of its Basque roots. Enjoy this unique wine with some cassoulet, roast duck, rack of lamb, or pot roast.
