Adrien Renoir is showing us some damn fine winemaking with the Extra Brut comprised of Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. He ages some of the wine in tank to preserve freshness and ages some in barrel to add texture, weight and some richness of flavor. Right upfront you get poached stone fruit, spice and buttery rich brioche. The palate is quite rich with white flowers, holiday spicing and more stone fruit along with a citrus marmalade punch. Masculine in style but still very noble and fine. Bravo Adrien. Bravo.
