Over the past decade, our price-savvy wine customers have discovered the crisp, dry white wines of Gascony, not only for their ability to remove the road dust from a hard day’s work, but for the low, low prices and modest alcohol that allow all of us to enjoy copious amounts without being punished for it.  There is real substance in this Colombard/Gros Manseng/Ugni Blanc blend, beginning with a lovely honeysuckle aroma, plusher texture and citrus-pith flavor.  No, it’s not meant to be a complicated wine.  It is merely joyful to quaff.
