Altos Las Hormigas 2018 Malbec Terroir Valle de Uco, Mendoza, Argentina

Exclusively from Valle de Uco Vineyards with elevation above 900 meters. Grapes are harvested by hand from a blend of high density vineyards located in the sub region of Vista Flores as well as two areas in Tupungato. These are gravelly, alluvial soils with abundant stones and good drainage, which delivers the typical bouquet of Valle de Uco, combining flowers with fine red fruit and subtle spices. 50% of this Malbec is aged in cement piletas, 25% in stainless steel vats, and 25% is aged in untoasted large oak foudres.
