This family estate was founded in 1960 but moved to its current location, (which was once owned by Vincent Girardin) in 2007 which helped Antoine increase production. 50% of the winery production stays in France, sold to long time aficionados and at local wine fairs. Thankfully for us we ran into an importer that was able to wrestle some from the locals so we can enjoy it here in California. Lots of tangy, racy fruit alone with a mineral note that gives the wine a fresh, almost briny flavor. Nice and lean on the palate with some herbal flecks along with that brine and bright citrus. This is the kind of white Burgundy that we would love to pair with shellfish, river fish and tangy goat cheeses.
