Avinyo 2021 Vi d'Agulla Petillant Blanc, Penedes Spain

This lovely lightly sparkling white wine is the quintessential summer sipper or aperitif wine.  Avinyo is a Cava producer in the Penedes region of Catalan and they also produce this dry "Vi d'Agulla" which translates to "prickly wine."    The wine is clean and fresh and bursting with just the right amount of honeysuckle and citrus fruits.   This wine goes down dangerously easy but at only 10.5% abv you can relax and keep sipping away.
