Adi Badenhorst is obsessive about quality, using organic and biodynamic techniques to tend to his 40-60 year old vines and uses minimal intervention winemaking to let them express their terrior. It spends 7 months on the lees. This lusciously textured wine has the nose of stonefruit and spice you expect from a ripe South African Chenin Blanc and an explosion of rich, round stonefruit in the mouth. It also has perfect balancing acidity, keeping everything clean and pure leading to a crisp, satisfying finish. A beautifully wine at an astonishing price, it always blows people away at tastings.
