Ballot Millot is located in the village of Meursault and the Chardonnay for this Bourgogne comes from sustainably farmed vines ranging in age from 20-30 years old. Small production, only 580 cases produced. The bit of neutral oak there is nicely weighted fruit here. Leaning towards the more peachy side of stone fruit with creamy citrus notes and a pretty lift from bright acidity. Easy drinking and adaptable to most white meat dishes, though it needs nothing to help it shine.
