Bannister 2020 Scheurebe Alexander Valley, Sonoma County

While there is a minerality characteristic present throughout the flavor profile, the wine isn’t as acidic or racy as one would expect from a German version of Scheurebe. Green apple, white peach and nectarine make a fun combination of rich fruit and acidity. Subtle green pepper and floralness create a savory component which leads to a mineral and peach finish.
