Lots of fresh and jammy mixed berries on the nose with notes of black and white pepper, cocoa, vanilla, mint, thyme, lavender, and fennel. The palate mirrors the nose and is round and generous. Nice balance with well-structured tannins and acidity. Pair with roasted meats, cassoulets, duck, game, barbeque.

The wine is a classical Languedoc blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Syrah grown in the low foothills of the Pic St Loup appellation on soils of limestone screen. Altitudes here average between 500-600 feet.

Once harvested, grapes are de-stemmed and crushed. They spend between 10 to 30 days in vats depending on the features of the harvest and grape maturity. The Grenache and Syrah wines are aged in vats for 12 months before blending, with the Mourvèdre portion in oak.
