Made from 100% Jacquere, which I guess really doesn’t help much here does it? This wine is produced in the Savoie which is very near the Swiss Alps, so it’s a mountain wine, grown in fairly moist and cold conditions. Very vibrant and fresh with flavors sort of herby and like under-ripe green apples. Traditionally served with the region’s favorite melty cheese dish, the ever delicious fondue, but also lovely with light river, or super mild, fishes. Just wonderfully crunchy and easy.
