Verdicchio is an ancient grape grown in the Marche region of Italy’s east coast and mostly grown in the Castelli di Jesi commune. The Bucci family dates back to the 1700’s and still owns their 988 acre estate. Bucci lead the modern trend to break away from making light bodied Verdicchio to making wines with more body and fuller fruit while keeping great balance with the naturally high acidity of the grape. This Verdicchio is an explosion of bold fruit flavor with bright notes of acidity and minerality. A great match with linguine and clams.
