In interesting story here. On May 2nd, 2007 St. Lucia Distillers was struck by a fire at the distillery, and though most of the stocks survived, the distillery ran out of space and had to store casks in unusual places. One cask was overlooked and recently discovered. This is that rum, bottled in a limited release. Aged separately in used Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and Buffalo trace barrels, the rums were blended together and aged for another 5 years. The result is an outstanding, richly flavored super-premium rum. 40% alcohol.
