Château Giscours is located in Bordeaux's Medoc wine region in the commune of Margaux. It is ranked as a 3rd Growth, or Troisième Cru, in the 1855 Classification of Bordeaux. With a history going back 600 years, the château was a defensive tower that overlooked what was then the marshlands of the Médoc. It wasn't until the 16th century that it began its destiny as a wine producer. Giscours is known for producing wines of elegance and class, with some connoisseurs proclaiming it as an 'intellectual' wine.

This wine is a perfect example of what wine drinkers love about Margaux - elegance, perfume and class. It is fresh yet powerful, perfectly marrying beautiful fruit with new oak flavors. It is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Pair with roasted meats, lamb, duck, pork, hearty stews.
