Corte Gardoni’s Bardolino is just pure joy in a bottle; low in alcohol, lean and bursting with red fruits, yet slightly earthy and dry enough to make you want another sip to enjoy that delectable fruit all over again.
Description

Bardolino is a small wine region on the eastern shore of the stunning Lago di Garda, Italy's largest lake located in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Bardolino wines are produced from the same grapes as its neighbored Valpolicella wines, mostly Corvina and Rondinella, but are typically lighter and fresher in style with the same energy as young Beaujolais and with that same unpretentious quaffability.  Corte Gardoni’s Bardolino is just pure joy in a bottle; low in alcohol, lean and bursting with red fruits, yet slightly earthy and dry enough to make you want another sip to enjoy that delectable fruit all over again.   It’s a classic example of a classic wine.   Serve slightly chilled for a picnic or afternoon lunch or serve room temperature and pair with salmon, chicken, turkey and pork dishes.

Corte Gardoni is a small family run winery in the Veneto and now run by three brothers who took over when their father passed in 2020.  Kermit Lynch began importing the wines of Corte Gardoni in the 1980’s and has watched the quality of their wines improve year after year all while remaining incredibly inexpensive.
