Beautifully graceful Sancerre. Eri
Eric Louis Curot can say that he comes by his passion for winemaking naturally. His great grandmother was growing, producing and bottling wines in Sancerre back in 1860! That history has served this family well and Domaine Curot was offically established in the 80s. This is one of the most refined and complex Sancerre we've had, at anywhere near this price point, in quite some time. No massive grassy notes and the only blast of green you get is from the scent of fresh cut fennel. Racy and vibrant in the glass but still quite layered and rich in texture. White flowers, stone fruit, Buddha's hand citrus, that fennel and a blast of water over clean river stones. Captivating and crave inducing.
