Domaine De L'Alliance "Definition" 2021 Bordeaux Sec Blanc, France

This winery is located in Sauternes, a commune known for their sweet, long-lived white wines, this one however is a dry white made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. The winery was founded in 2005, so we have a fun ride ahead discovering what they have in store for us down the road. Here we have a luscious, full, curvy white that is aged in 3-year oak which also lends weight, body and just a hint of seasoning. Guava, grapefruit, spice, and white flowers carry through on the long, persistent finish. Not shy, and we love it for its flashy charm.
