Domaine de Montille 2019 Bourgogne Blanc "Le Clos du Chateau"

When Etienne de Montille acquired the vineyards of Chateau Puligny-Montrachet, the parcel adjacent to the winery came with it.  The fruit from this walled vineyard always had a little something special, located as it was, across the street from the Puligny-Montrachet appellation.  The 2019 vintage produced a more delicate wine, at first restrained, yet very pretty in both aroma and flavor.  Fish in a butter sauce couldn’t ask for anything better.
