A very rare Cassis Rouge.
For the first time in over 20 year history here as one of Southern California's most impassioned French wine lovers, we were able to get a most cherished case of this super rare red from Provence. Cassis, known for their seafood friendly whites and racy roses does in fact make a tiny amount of super friendly red. Made from 80% Mourvedre and 20% Grenache and not as feral and herby, nor as tannic as those from Bandol. A French wine lover owe it to themselves to try this one.
