The wines of Domaine Gachot-Monot are some of the best values in the Kermit Lynch wine portfolio with an outstanding price-to-quality ratio. The domain works the vineyards of the lesser known Cote-des-Nuits Village appellation as though they are premier cru fruit from Nuits-Saint-Georges. Damien Gachot-Monot is a 5th generation vintner, work these vines alongside his wife, Lise. They farm 12 hectares outside the village of Cargoloin, which is between Nuit-Saint-Georges and Beaune.

In the competitive world of Pinot Noir, it is an achievement to make a wine that exceeds the pedigree of the soils on which it is grown. The vines are sustainably grown, and grapes are hand-harvested, then vinified in cement tanks. Wines are aged in 20-30% new oak, the percentage dependent on the harvest and vintage.
