Father and son, Camille and Laurent Schaller, produce the wines for this estate. We found a lovely amount of texture in this wine, which one expects for 1er Cru but sadly, all too often, we don’t find. Almost silky in the mouth with densely packed green apple, tropical flowers and gorgeous little saline core. If this wine isn’t screaming oysters or oceanic delights than I don’t know what to tell you.
