Intense, minerally and fat on the palate, loaded with stone fruit, marmalade, and quince, this wine is one to think about. Very balanced and rich on the palate, and dry. Pair with mushroom dishes, roast pork and sweet potato mash..

The 'R' on this label indicates its noble origin in a parcel in Rangen de Thann at the southern end of the vineyard with steep slopes on soils volcanic in origin. Pinot Gris dominates this blend with Gewurztraminer and Riesling contributing to its rich profile. This wine is intense, minerally and fat on the palate, loaded with stone fruit, marmalade, and quince. The wine sounds sweet, but is is dry and fresh - a wine to contemplate.
