This domaine is only (5) hectares in size but what wine it produces! These wines are so appealing and approachable. Canadian Moray Tawse bought Domaine Maume in 2013, and installed his compatriot Pascal Marchand as the manager. What makes these wines distinctive is their work in the vineyards, enabling them to produce very high quality grapes via biodynamic practices. Wines are matured 18-20 months in barrel. The result is a softer Gevry-Chambertin.
