Winemaker Notes

The oldest recorded vineyards of the Nahe are located in this part of the village of Norheim. Kirsche means “cherry”, so the age-old name of the site likely refers to the wild cherries that grow even today amidst the vines.

Critical Acclaim

95 Pts James Suckling:  This is a totally charming beauty with succulence that's hard to resist and mineral freshness that lifts the wine beautifully. Long, complex finish with multiple moments of tension. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification.

93 Pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:  The 2019 Riesling Spätlese Norheimer Kirschheck is bright and elegant... Racy- piquant and pure on the palate, with tension, grip and elegance, this is a promising Spätlese.
