A great example of orange wine. Light and crisp with some subtle fruit. Great for those who enjoy the style already or are trying to figure it out!
This 100% Pinot Grigio spends a little time in neutral barrels before bottling. When I first tried it, the thought crossed my mind “This is very Vermouth like”. Softer fruit up front, a combination of peaches and cherries along with hints of toasted nuts plays the balance of sweet (fruit not sweetness) and savory. Subtle floralness along with crisp minerality on the finish leaves the wine a little brighter than one might expect from their first sip.
