A lovely delicate fragrance of crisp Bosc Pears, green apples, limes and lime zest, slate, clean forest moss and minerals. Similar on the palate it is DRY with white peach and grapefruit notes and just a hint of quinine (maybe a better alternative to a gin and tonic!). A long and zesty finish. A great all around Riesling with fish, shellfish and lighter chicken and veal dishes.

NoteTrocken in German means the wine is dry.

The estate of Fritz Haag is located in the central heart of the Mosel River Valley. Records of the estate date from 1605, when the village closest to it was called Dusemond. The name was changed in 1925 to Brauneberg (Brown Mountain) after the color of the slate soils in this particular area. The Oliver and Wilhelm Haag believe that a world-class wine estate must maintain the same level of quality throughout its entire range of products - including the simplest everyday wine as well as the special-selection, single-vineyard wines. You can taste the dedication in the resulting wines of the entire range.
