Domaine Goisot is located in the Saint Bris appellation, once part of the Chablis AOC of Burgundy, France, prior to the arrival of phylloxera. The wines of this unique appellation are officially entitled to the status of Bourgogne. However, unlike other producers in Burgundy, they not only grow Chardonnay and Aligote, but also Sauvignon Blanc.This wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Soils here are from the Jurassic period and consist of Kimmeridgian clay and the fossilized oyster shell, Exogyra Virgula.
