Connawarra has a limited maritime influence on its climate, which makes it prone to spring frost and summer heat waves. Connawarra is derived from an Aboriginal word for a native Honeysuckle that grows in the area. This wine truly shows the terroir of Connawarra with complex aromas of black currant and oak.
